Currently on the market for $10,500, according to it's owner it's arguably the fastest and best presented Pied Piper in the country. After undergoing a full refit late 2007/early 2008 Yosemite Sam has been berthed in a marina for the past four years and has been kept in great condition and achieved outstanding results.

Was seen to be on the market last in May 2011, Smiler a pidey located in Auckland and not know to currently race.

Rat Attack is one of the top boats in the Pied Piper fleet, she has won multiple nationals and in 2010 she came 2nd. She is a strong reliable boat in great condition and has been kept safely in a marina. The cabin is built for cruising, but can be stripped for racing, It has fully varnished trim and cupboards. The cabin is in excellent condition fully painted, even under the floorboards to prevent rot. Perfectly conditioned navy blue squabs providing one double in the bow and two singles.

Launched in 1964 she was the first boat started and second to hit the water. She was built by Des and Bill Townson to Des' original design. The keels for Mercia and Pied piper were poured side by side the same weekend. Mercia was originally fitted with an inboard motor forward of the mast(a small lawnmower engine!) and has no main hatch slide, just a solid cabin top.
These are also the only 2 Piedys to have these hull lines as Des re-drew the lines to make them a little easier to build.
The skeletal hull remains were recently purchased on Trademe for $100 and are currently undergoing repair, restoration and modification in a semi-obvious makeshift shanty in Browns Bay :)

Went cruising recently and came across another piedy siting on her mooring on the Tamaki river. Though fitted with beautiful deck gear, the starboard side looked like she'd been parked by a skipper who'd had one too many rums after a race.

She's in milford marina at the moment for a full refit and paint, due to her terrible condition when she was bought by the Sugdens in late december of 2010, hopefully she'll be back in the water by the start of this summer.

Recently Moved from Up North to Waiheke. Owned by an older dude who got her as a trade in on his larger yacht.
She has a bulb keel but still has the original keel blosk on the bottom of the hull. Has mast head jumpers and a transom hung rudder too.
